An imaginative Baldur’s Gate 3 player uses the game’s character creator to create human versions of companions Karlach and Lae’zel.
Getting Arrested in Rivington

Rivington is the town where you start Act 3. Baldur's Gate is visible in the distance past the Wyrm's Crossing bridge. If you get arrested for committing crimes in this area, you will be placed in Wyrm's Rock Prison. Attempting to cross the bridge will result in security shaking you down for money. The Steel Watcher guard may also recognize your character and attempt to arrest the party. Peacefully accepting the arrest will land you and your companions in prison.
Speak to the Unusual Skull

If you get arrested, your entire party will be placed in a cell with all items confiscated. Thankfully, a strange talking skull is on a shelf at the back of the cell, asking to speak with you. Interact with the Unusual Skull, and there will be an Arcana check. Pass the Arcana check to discern the skull's origin. Pass a Persuasion check to get the Unusual Skull to drop its complicated vocabulary and speak to you more straightforwardly. The skull offers freedom in exchange for solving two of his riddles. Answer them incorrectly, and he will teleport you straight to the guards without any weapons.
Unusual Skull Riddle Answers

The first riddle is, "I fly, but not through the sky. I say Goodbye at night and hello in the morning. I am part of you and follow wherever you go. I wear only black and run from the light. Yet, without it, I couldn't exist. Who am I?"
The second riddle is, "I am beaten and battered but never break. My crown has felt the strike of endless blades, yet I can never move. I never sweat, even when the summertime sun shines upon me. Who am I?"
- Riddle #1 Answer - A Shadow
- Riddle #2 Answer - An Anvil
Escaping Wyrm's Rock Prison
The correct answers will set the character speaking to the skull free. This character will be teleported right in front of the equipment box filled with all your confiscated gear and be temporarily invisible. Crouch into stealth mode to hide from the patrolling guard. It's best to solve these riddles as a Rogue so you can stealthily grab your Thieves Tools and lockpick the cell door to free the rest of your party.
